Continuing from page 1 on toothache home remedies, the number one herb for toothache is:
Olive leaf extract: The benefits of olive leaf extract were introduced to me via a terrific book by Dr. Morton Walker, titled “Olive Leaf Extract.”
An edited review by a customer serves as a helpful introduction to the book and the herb. Then a brief explanation on why olive leaf is so effective against toothaches.
Natural Antibiotic, antiviral, antibacterial, antimicrobia, June 12, 1998, By A Customer
Dr. Morton Walker has written an excellent book which documents the history & tradition of olive leaf extract & then presents the evidence of it's efficacy in Europe & recently the U.S.
Olive leaf extract is used for a number of symptoms from bacterial & viral infections. The action of olive leaf extract is fascinating as it works against almost any viral or bacterial infection it was tested against.
Upjohn researched olive leaf back in the 1960's & it found it effective vs. every bacterium or virus it was tested against.
Fortunately for us, they gave up on it because it was rendered ineffective when it would bind to serum protein in the blood rendering it ineffective in the body. But scientists in Europe continued researching it & in 1994 finally were able to overcome this problem.
This is a must read for anyone concerned about acquiring any type of cold, flu, viral, bacterial, microbial, parasitic or fungal infection. Plus best of all it is as safe as purified water. It has no side effects. Also with many strains of bacteria becoming antibiotic resistant because of overuse of antibiotics by doctors & hospitals, this is a very viable & safe option.
So that's the review of Walker's book. The review gives a hint as to the reason why one of the benefits of olive leaf extract is relief from toothache pain. Simply put, the worst toothaches come from infection of a nerve in the tooth and gums.
Root canal deals with the nerve problem by yanking it out. No nerve, no infection, no pain.
Olive leaf extract deals with the problem by killing the bacteria that's infecting the nerve.
In my personal experience and anecdotal reports of people I've suggested take olive leaf for toothache (a dozen people or so), every single one reported toothache vanished with a day if not a few hours after starting on olive leaf extract.
If toothache is bad, take 6 – 10 capsules spread out over a day or 2 -3x the dose on a tincture bottle. When pain has subsided, take the maintenance dose for as long as needed. No telling how long or how much you will need to take olive leaf.
A good thing about the herb is that in addition to being the best of the natural toothache home remedies, it has so many benefits that taking it regularly can only improve health.
Make sure you take product with active Olea Europea at about 10% of the dose.
