First, a few facts about kidney stones.

Kidney stones form when certain substances crystallize in the urine to form pebbles of varying sizes.

Symptoms of a kidney stone is intense pain or blood in the urine. Such would require immediate medical attention to rule out obstruction or infection and help locate the cause of stone formation.
