The most common form of bronchitis, “acute bronchitis,” usually goes away without treatment. Chronic bronchitis is a whole other matter.

Also, drink lots of liquids like water, teas broths. Warm liquids are especially soothing.

Steam inhalants also offer great relief. Adding herbal oils to inhalant is especially beneficial. Good oils include eucalyptus, thyme, peppermint and rosemary. Of course, just adding fresh chpped, crushed leaves to hot liquid should also work.

Finally, don’t fool around with bronchitis if you don’t seem to be getting better. Go see your doctor if you’re having any problems breathing, experience severe chest pains, fever exceeds 102°, cough up blood, symptoms worsen or persist for more than 4 weeks.

For tinctures, take 2 - 3 tsps per day divided into 2 - 3 doses. For commercial preps, follow directions.
