ALLERGY

Equal parts of all or the following herbs: nettle, peppermint, spearmint, yerba santa, eye bright, lemon grass, calendula, red clover, lavender flowers, fennel seeds, stevia. Steep for 5 - 10 minutes, strain, dress up to taste.

ANXIETY

Blend 1 ½ oz peppermint and 1 ½ oz lemon balm leaves. Use 1 tsp of herbal mixture for each cup of boiling water. Steep for 10 minutes, strain, dress to taste, enjoy.

BLADDER INFECTIONS

1 ½ oz dried Goldenrod

1/4 oz Juniper Berries

3/4 oz chopped Dandelion root

3/4 oz chopped Rose Hips

Use 2 tsp of blended mixture per cup of tea. Pour 1 cup of hot water over blend, steep for 10 minutes and strain. Only drink 2 cups of this herbal tea recipe a day for 3 - 5 days.

COLDS & FLU

Equal parts blackberry leaves, elder flowers, linden flowers, peppermint leaves. Pour 1 cup of hot water over 2 tablespoons mixture, steep 10 minutes, strain, dress up to taste and enjoy.

CONGESTION

1 ½ oz Aniseed

1 oz Calendula flowers

3/4 oz Marshmallow root

1/3 oz Licorice root

Crush aniseeds, blend with herbs. Pour one cup hot water over 1 tsp blend, steep for 10 minutes, dress up this herbal tea remedy and enjoy.

CONSTIPATION

Use 1 part senna leaves, buckthorn bark, anise seed, fennel seed and ½ part licorice root. Steep 1 tablespoon of blend in 1½ cups hot water for 10 minutes, strain, dress to taste, enjoy before bedtime.

COUGH (acute)

1 1/3 oz. St. John's Wort

2/3 oz. Thyme

2/3 oz. Linden Flowers

Use 1 tsp. of the blend per cup of boiling water. Steep for 5-10 minutes, strain, dress to taste.

COUGH (persistent)

Equal parts dried blueberries, dried blueberry leaves and licorice root. Use 3 tbs mixture to 2 cups water. Pour hot water over mixture. Steep for 10 minutes, strain, dress up and enjoy.

DETOX TEA

1 tsp Green Tea leaves, 1 tsp dandelion

Pour one cup of hot water over dandelion, cover, steep for 5 minutes, dress up, enjoy.

DIGESTION

Per cup of hot water add 1 tbsp. grated fresh ginger, piece of cinnamon stick, 2 whole peppercorns, 4 - 5 cardamom pods, ¼ cup warm milk, a pinch nutmeg. Let steep for 10 minutes, strain, dress, enjoy.

FATIGUE

1 part white Asian ginseng root

1 part red Asian ginseng root

1/2 part Chinese licorice root

1/2 part Chinese red jujube date

Steep 1 tablespoon of mixture in 1 cup of boiling hot water, dress to taste, enjoy.

2 tsp dried Catnip

1 tsp dry Vervain

Pour 2 cups hot water over herbs, steep for 10 minutes, strain, dress up, enjoy.

FLUID RETENTION

1 oz Dandelion root

1 oz Dandelion leaves

2/3 oz Nettle leaves

2/3 oz Spearmint leaves

Steep mixture in 1 cup of hot water for 10 minutes, strain, dress up this herbal tea recipe and enjoy.

HEADACHE

Equal parts pinches of lavender, chamomile, rosemary and mint. Steep in 1 cup of hot water, strain, dress up, enjoy. Best taken before bed.

INSOMNIA

1 ½ oz dried Vervain leaves

1 oz Chamomile

½ oz Spearmint

For this herbal tea remedy, blend herbs, add to 1 cup hot water, steep for 8 minutes, strain, dress to taste, enjoy before bedtime.

MIGRAINE

Use 1&2/3 oz dried St Johns Wort, 1 oz Valerian, 1 oz Linden flowers and 1/4 oz Juniper berries. Use 1 tsp of herbal blend for 1 cup boiling water, steep for 10 minutes, strain dress to taste, enjoy.

MONTHLY CYCLES

2 teaspoons dried lemon balm leaves and yarrow.

Steep the herbal blend in hot water for 10 minutes, strain, dress to taste. Drink 2 - 3 cups on difficult days.

NAUSEA

Use ½ tsp dried ginger, ½ tsp clove blossoms and 1 tsp chamomile flowers. Pour 1 cup boiling water over herbal mixture, steep for 10 minutes, strain, dress to taste, enjoy warm or cooled.

NURSING

Use 1 teaspoon crushed fennel seeds and a cinnamon stick.

Pour 1 cup hot water over herbal blend, cover and steep for 10 minutes, strain, dress to taste and enjoy.

SORE THROAT

Blend 2 oz malva and 1 ½ oz mullein flowers

For this herbal tea recipe, use 2 tbs of mixture per 1 cup hot water, steep for 10 minutes, strain, dress to taste, enjoy.

TONIC

Pour a cup of hot water over 1 teaspoon dried red clover blossoms and 1 tsp ground ginger root. For this herbal tea remedy, cover & steep for 15 minutes, strain, dress to taste and enjoy. (Especially good for women.)
