Licorice has been shown to be as effective for bursitis as prescription medication. Luckily licorice, like other herbal remedies bursitis, doesn’t offer the same side effects as prescriptions: weight gain, sleeplessness & immune suppression. Not for long term use. Only take under supervision if you suffer from high blood pressure.
